Danielle and John had a sweet and chilly Salt River Engagement Session. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, the sunset glow surely was!

When I first met John & Danielle it was Friday night and they were my first couple to break out of the Starbucks consult! Now I love meeting couples for consults anywhere but Starbucks. We had craft beers at a sweet little cafe in Ahwatukee and hit it off! I was elated to hear from them a few days later that they had decided I’d have the honor of photographing their best day ever!

When we chatted about their Salt River engagement session location they mentioned that they love Arizona scenery and pretty sunset light. The Salt River proved to be the perfect place. Although it was very windy and cold you’d never know from that warm golden sunset we had! Sweet Danielle kept telling me that her excitement outweighed the cold.
