If you’ve followed me for sometime it’s no secret that my couples love Arizona and the desert just as much as I do! Beautiful engagement images are equal parts a couple sweetly in love + a stunning backdrop location with a beautiful setting and the perfect golden light. Maybe you are wondering where to take your engagement photos or just trying to decide on how to dress your fiancé? I know this information would have been super helpful to me when planning our engagement photos so I have to pass on my top 3 dreamy desert engagement locations in Arizona!

North Scottsdale // the northern part of Scottsdale has the prettiest mountains and boulders and there are a ton of locations to choose from! Hiking around and finding that perfect boulder backdrop is not only a way to ensure epic engagement images but also a little adventure too! Each time of year looks different at each trail so I suggest scouting out the location earlier if you are a photographer!

Cave Creek // Cave Creek is even further north of Scottsdale and boasts the cutest little town. I always suggest you treat your engagement session like a date, get dressed up, enjoy the time together, and then go somewhere fun to eat! El Encanto has the best margaritas in Cave Creek, just a bonus to picking this epic location that includes saguaros as far as the eye can see, mountain views, and a super private intimate place for your engagement images!

Tucson // The Mission in Tucson has desert goodness around every corner. From the soft terra cotta colors, the church, and the cacti all around the property this location is just so good! I recently took a staycation with my family in Tucson and I’m excited to photograph more couples there soon! Downtown Tucson is a favorite of mine along with the wineries south of the city and the adorable little town of Tubac.
