In my first post in A Blog Series for Busy Brides I want to introduce you all to my friend Melissa with Moelleux Events. I am convinced there is nothing this girl can’t do. I’ve seen her work under super quick deadlines, think outside the box, and create original and creative content! Melissa is THE flower queen and her personality to get things done and her optimism make her a perfect vendor to work with on your wedding day! Melissa truly loves love. Here’s what Melissa had to share!

1) Tell us a little about yourself!

I am Melissa with Moelleux Events. I started my business in May of 2016, since then I have had the privilege of working with over 50 couples. Moelleux Events started as a planning and coordination business, we have now added flowers to the repertoire. The floral division of Moelleux Events has quickly become the main focus of the business. This fall we anticipate we will create flowers for 40 couples!

2) What do you love most about what you do?

I love to create for our couples first day of their marriage. It is the best feeling!

3) What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a couple planning their perfect wedding day (specifically pertaining to your industry)?

Invest in what matters to you on your special day. Now, I don’t mean blow budgets, I mean know your priorities and plan for them. And be open minded to ideas and choose professionals you trust to bring the vision you are wanting! No regrets!

4) If there were one thing you could change within your industry, what would it be and why? 

Wow! Such a good question. I think my hope is that each of us in this industry always under promises and over delivers, versus the other way. I hope that each person in my industry is honest about their capabilities and works to provide the best experience for each of their couples!
