I usually blog photos of happy couples in love but we’ve worked super hard to get our baby’s nursery all ready for her! I figured why not take a little detour and show off her new digs? She is coming earlier than expected, but luckily we know that and we were able to hyper focus on getting things ready! We still have two hand-painted shelves and a few small art pieces to go up, but mostly we are done and feeling great about it! I tried to keep it feminine while also incorporating lots of Southwestern and bohemian items! I could have done the WHOLE thing in handmade macrame, but luckily my husband is here to lock my phone when my Etsy cart gets too full and any college savings money goes out the window!
So many items are gifts and small trinkets of love from family and friends, and it warms my heart to see these items in her room! Speaking of warm, it’s a cruel, cruel joke to be pregnant in Phoenix in the summer, so we are staying cool and trying to soak up the last few days we have as a family of two (okay four, I shouldn’t completely forget about the cats, not yet at least)!
In case anyone is interested I’ve posted the links below to finding some of the items in our nursery. That yellow yarn sign came from the sweetest little Etsy shop in Baltimore (where I was born!) and just makes us SO happy!! Handmade items from small businesses are my favorite, I love supporting them, and I think my girl will be a fan as well!
