Lauren and Alan’s Rio Verde Ranch wedding was the second time I had the honor of working with Ryan Nicole Photography! We like to joke that I only second for her when the bride is also named Lauren, so far this season we are 2 out of 3! Ryan is so sweet and so down to earth, she is a fellow Showiteer (the amazing community & platform we both use to create and run our websites) and she has such a kind and giving heart. Ryan lights up when she speaks about her couples and its inspirational! She really lives for community over competition, my kind of girl!

I started the day meeting with Alan and the groomsmen at a private home in Scottsdale, it’s always a joy photographing the guys getting ready, the energy is always relaxed as the anticipation builds towards ceremony time. Alan’s groomsmen insisted I have a piece of pizza and hang out while they presented him with the best gift! After I captured the guys enjoying their time together and getting ready, I headed to the ceremony and reception site, the Rio Verde Ranch. What a beautiful place, it actually reminded me of Virginia! It’s green and beautiful, and a river runs right along the ceremony site. We had an overcast day, which is always a treat compared to our often sun-filled wedding days!

Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready in an rv on the property, how cool is that! Lauren’s big brother helped her plan the perfect day, down to every last beautiful detail! I don’t think there was a dry eye during his reception speech to Lauren! I’m sharing a few of my absolute favorites from their gorgeous day below and dreaming about another perfect wedding day at the Rio Verde Ranch!
