Back for another Foodie Friday PHX and I’m wondering who the heck reads these?! I honestly have way too much fun eating and then writing about these fun foodie locations!

So, Taco Chelo, it’s downtown Phoenix right near Roosevelt Row. I’d been drooling over their Instagram account and decided to pop in. I asked the gal at the front for recommendations and she said the fish taco. Now, as a girl who grew up on the coast, I typically skip eating desert seafood. But my anxiety was squashed as she shared that the fish is fresh rockfish from San Diego. Yes, sign me up! Good doesn’t even begin to describe it. My senses were on overload here, the sights, the art work, delicious food, and one toddler way past nap time.

If you notice that mid-day margarita, I mean, did I need it? Yes and no. I had just survived an art museum with a child who was an absolute angel, but it was pretty clear from the looks we got that I was perhaps nuts taking her to a museum with ancient European art and many senior citizens. So that margarita was earned and very much so appreciated.
